Press Release Regarding The Fourth Turkish-russian Joint Strategic Planning Group Meeting , 25.05.2014

H.E. Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey will pay a visit to Moscow on 27 May 2014 on the occasion of the Fourth Turkish-Russian Joint Strategic Planning Group Meeting (JSPG) which is a sub-organ of the Turkish-Russian High Level Cooperation Council (HLCC).
The Joint Strategic Planning Group Meeting that will be held under the joint chairmanship of H.E. Mr. Ahmet Davutoğlu and his Russian counterpart H.E. Mr. Sergey Lavrov, will also be a preparatory meeting for the 5th HLCC Summit to be held in Turkey in the second half of the year.
The discussions that will be held during the visit are planned to address the current bilateral relations of the two countries as well as new opportunities for cooperation and to enable a comprehensive exchange of views on regional and international developments that are on the agenda of both countries, especially Ukraine, including the situation of Crimean Tatar Turks, and Syria.
